Amazing Weekend for ICSV Soccer Teams!

The DVAC Championships for the ICSV soccer teams came with many highlights! The Middle School Boys Soccer team overwhelmed the competition at their tournament this past weekend, going undefeated and securing the conference championship!

The High School Boys did a fantastic job in their tournament as well, coming in 2nd place, after losing a close championship game 1-0 against AIS Salzburg. All of this came after our ICSV Lady Eagles Soccer Team took 2nd place at their championship as well!

This was a fantastic wrap on our 2022 fall season, and we couldn’t be more proud of the hard work and accomplishments of our athletes and coaches!

Big Win!

On Tuesday, October 18th, our High School Girls Volleyball teams played against AIS and came out with two fantastic wins! This was the team’s second time playing against AIS Vienna this season.

Salzburg Shenanigans

Our High School Eagles traveled to Salzburg last weekend to take on AIS Salzburg & St. Gilgen in soccer and volleyball. Our Boys soccer team had a solid weekend defeating St. Gilgens. They tied AIS Salzburg 1-1; however, they lost in penalty kicks. The boys volleyball team captured their first victory of the season, defeating AIS Salzburg! Our Girls Volleyball Teams battled hard, however, lost their matches against AIS and St. Gilgen. We’re extremely proud of all our teams that represented ICSV in Salzburg. Great job, Eagles!

Weekend of Success

This past weekend, ICSV Soccer Teams went undefeated in their DVAC events! High School boys brought back two wins, winning their matches against the British International School of Budapest and DIS. Our High School Girls tied their first match against AIS Budapest, and then went on the defeat the British International School of Budapest and DIS! Our Middle School Boys had an amazing performance here in Vienna, knocking off QSI Bratislava, Riverside School Prague, and VIS! Awesome weekend Eagles!

Triple Trouble

Our High School Girls Volleyball Team played against the American International School High School Girls team this week. Both the A team and B teams competed. The A team won all three of their sets against the AIS team they played, and the B team won one of their games. We’re happy to see our players already improving so early in the season and look forward to the upcoming tournaments and games!

Kickstarting the Year!

Our High School Girls Volleyball Team participated in a DVAC volleyball tournament during the weekend. For their first game, they played against BUD and brought back a win! The second game was against QSI. They came up short, but it was a great learning experience for the team. The last game was against BISBr. They won one set and proceeded to go to a third set, which was lost in an extremely close game. We’re thrilled about the amount of newer players that are participating in volleyball this year, we hope that they enjoyed their first tournament, and we’re looking forward to seeing them grow throughout the rest of the season!
