2022-2023 Annual Report

6 Action Steps: • The planning process for the new building was completed and submitted to the government authorities. • The Advancement Department has continued to raise funds for the new building; we already have 3.09 million EURO (31%) towards the initial 10 million needed to begin construction. • We have received permission to extend the use of the modular classrooms until the end of 2024. • We are working with potential investors and donors, together with a consulting company and our architects in order to make the new building project a reality as quickly as possible. • The comprehensive facilities and IT plans for the current building have been updated in coordination with the accreditation self-study. This summer, one side of the current building received a new façade. Establish and implement a long-term, strategic site development plan identifying all significant land and building issues related to growth and improvement of facilities, services, and equipment, and allocate sufficient resources to fund the plan. Align the spiritual nature, characteristics, and needs of secondary students with the school’s goals as set forth in foundational documents utilizing dynamics that foster growth and development in various educational settings. Action Steps: • We have had the privilege of hosting various local pastors, missionaries, and Christian workers as secondary chapel speakers this past year. • We hosted a pastor and his wife from Virginia for our secondary spring spiritual emphasis week. • We launched teacher-led discipleship groups that met during lunches. • We had a praise band class in the first semester that allowed our leaders to invest into our student praise team both spiritually and as musicians. • Spiritual life surveys were conducted in the fall and spring for both elementary and secondary. • We took eight secondary school students to ACSI’s Student Leadership Conference in Hungary.
