Greetings from the US

As you read this, I am probably driving from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, to spend the weekend with my daughter and her new husband. I’m appreciative of the opportunity to get to know my new son-in-law a little better after spending a week with him camping in Maine this past summer.
I’m in the US for the annual ACSI recruitment fair. I’ve already spent time in Phoenix, Arizona getting to meet with prospective teachers who are interested in serving overseas. Next week I’ll travel southwest to Texas to spend some time on the Baylor University campus.
Please be in prayer as I make contact with people who are interested in serving here at ICSV. We benefit from a strong and stable staff, so we have few positions to fill each year; however, the recruiting trip allows me to spread the word about the great things that are happening at our school. It also allows me time to network with administrators from international Christian schools from all over the world. We spend the week encouraging each other, sharing ideas, and reminding ourselves that we are not alone in what we do. It’s a very special time for us all.
I hope that you were able to enjoy some time together with your families during Fall Break. When I return to Vienna, I will be back in my office with a renewed excitement for the ministry of ICSV. I’ll see you all in a week!
Because of His Faithfulness,
Dr. Sharon Brobst, Director
