Last Week of School
As this is our last Eagle newsletter of the year, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for allowing us the privilege of partnering with you in the education of your children. We are so glad that Covid regulations lifted so that we could enjoy the end of the year together. I’m looking forward to the Eighth Grade Celebration, awards ceremonies, and Graduation next week. I hope to see you there.
One of the hardest parts of serving in an international community is saying goodbye to people at the end of each year. We are fortunate that this year we do not have many staff members leaving, but we know that many of our families are relocating to other parts of the world. We will remember your children and will continue to pray for them. Please pray for Mr. Phil Tuckey, Miss Amy Brown, and Mrs. Ali-Korhonen who will be transitioning to new and exciting opportunities in the future. They have faithfully served at ICSV for many years, and we will miss them terribly.
Please mark your calendars for the first day of the 2022-2023 school year on Wednesday, August 24. There will be an orientation for new secondary students and all sixth graders on Monday, August 22. Then on Tuesday, August 23, we will hold our elementary orientation for both new and returning students. If you are not returning to ICSV next year, we will simply say “see you later.” We trust that your time here was special and that you will remember ICSV fondly. You will be missed.
Thank you again for your support of ICSV. My prayer is that you have learned to THRIVE in the midst of this time of uncertainty. It has been such a joy to have you as part of our ICSV community! We’ll see you in August!
Because of His Faithfulness,
Dr. Sharon C. Brobst
