Middle & High School
At ICSV we believe that everyone is on a faith journey, and we want to walk alongside students as they seek answers to some of life’s biggest questions. Through a variety of programs and ministries, we provide students with outlets for asking these questions while searching for truth, meaning, and purpose in life. Our students come from many ethnic and religious backgrounds, so we strive to create an environment in which everyone can freely express their beliefs while we explore the truth of the Bible together. Regardless of where a student is in terms of faith when they come to ICSV, our goal is that they would be closer to Christ by the time they graduate.
All ICSV staff members have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This relationship overflows into everything that we do, including our classroom teaching, our participation in athletics and drama, and our everyday interactions. All classes are taught through the lens of a biblical worldview, so that students can see how the Bible and its truths are relevant to all areas of our lives. All students take Bible as a required subject.
Community – We desire to create a caring community in which Christ-like relationships are formed so that all who are a part of our school family are mutually supporting and encouraging one another.
Scripture – We believe the Bible is the Word of God and is relevant and applicable to our lives. Scripture is the primary way God reveals truth about Himself to man and should be used to guide our understanding of life, purpose, and decision-making.
Service – We believe there is value in serving others, so we encourage our ICSV family to follow Jesus’ example and have a positive impact on the world by providing opportunities to meet the needs of those around us.
