For the last two weeks I have been traveling throughout the southeastern United States recruiting teachers for the 2017-2018 school year. It’s hard to believe that we need to start thinking about next year already! ACSI, our accrediting agency, sponsors the International School Job Fair in a different part of the US each year. This year 37 different schools or organizations were in attendance. We represented 23 different countries from Africa, Asia, South America, and Europe. It has been so exciting to see what God is doing all around the world. It has also been great to speak with college students who want to be used by God, no matter where in the world that may be.
This trip has been a wonderful reminder of the awesome privilege that it is to be a part of what God is doing at ICSV. It was also a time to remember that we are not in this alone, but that there are schools all over the globe meeting the needs of the students that God brings to their doors. Would you please join me in praying for the individuals that I met? Perhaps there is someone who will come to Vienna next summer to teach our students. Would you also remember all the different schools that were represented at the recruitment fair that their staffing needs will be met? As we read in Matthew 9: “Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.'”
We have such a great group of teachers and staff members. We are truly blessed. God is faithful, so we can have confidence that He will supply all the staff that we need for next year, as well.
Because of His Faithfulness,
