WELCOME TO THE INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL OF VIENNA

The International Christian School of Vienna is the only K-12 English-speaking Christian school in all of Austria.

It is an honor and privilege to welcome you to this significant place. ICSV is located in one of the most livable and influential cities in the world, in close proximity to the United Nations, embassies, and a variety of international organizations and businesses. Our community consists of diverse backgrounds, with students from more than 60 nationalities.

It is therefore no small matter to us that God, in His wisdom, decided to establish our Christian school right here among the nations, where we seek to serve His purposes with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. For nearly 40 years (since 1986), ICSV has sought to provide a Christ-centered education while seeking to establish a flourishing  community in Vienna.

At ICSV, we believe that every child is created by God with unique gifts, interests, and potential. This foundation shapes how we teach, care for our students, and build community through healthy relationships. Because our teachers know students personally, they can tailor classroom instruction to build on each individual’s strengths and guide them through challenges.

Our American curriculum, combined with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), prepares students for universities around the world. Through engaged learning and meaningful exploration in the real world, students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and develop a global perspective.

As a Christian school, we believe that education is about academic excellence and character development. We teach from a Christian worldview and equip students with integrity, respect, and service.

Families often find that ICSV becomes more than a school; it becomes a community where students feel they belong, build lifelong friendships, and are encouraged to make a positive impact in the world.

I want to personally invite you to explore our website, come for an in-person visit, and find out why you should make ICSV your school of preference and choice.

Sincerely,
Mr. Siebert J. Myburgh, M.Ed.
Director, ICSV
