Hello, and welcome to ICSV’s School Counselor’s page!

My name is Ms. Joceline Jadisastra, but you can call me Ms. J, and I recently joined ICSV in April 2024.  Born and raised in Indonesia, I have studied, lived, and worked in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, the USA, and Germany. Previously served in similar roles at an international school in Düsseldorf, Germany and two international Christian schools in Jakarta, Indonesia. I am truly blessed to be a part of ICSV’s family and am very excited for the opportunity to work closely with the parents and to get to know each students personally.

School may be overwhelming or stressful at times, and with my educational background in Psychology and Counseling, I hope to be able to provide academic and social-emotional support and prepare students for university and post-high school life. My goal is for students to lead balanced lives, guide them to find their future aspirations and fulfill God’s calling for them in their lives.

As the school counselor, I am here to help with some of the topics below that students might experience:

• Academic challenges
• Getting involved at school
• Class scheduling
• Time management
• Problem-solving
• Post-high school planning
• Choosing a university or major
• Conflict with a peer or teacher
• Feeling stressed, sad, or anxious
• Concern for a friend or family member
