Chaplain and Bible Teacher
Hiring for the 2027/2028 School Year
ICSV is currently seeking a qualified Chaplain and Bible Teacher to join our faculty for the 2027/2028 school year.
The chaplain is responsible for actively engaging students and staff in developing the school's Christian/spiritual culture. The chaplain is responsible for organizing and implementing all spiritual programs and activities on and off campus with special emphasis on secondary chapel programs, with the goal of helping students to develop as mature, able, and responsible Christians for the glory of God. In addition, he will exercise the same duties as any classroom teacher. The chaplain reports to the secondary principal or the director.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Bible or Theology, and Education or related required
Master’s Degree in Bible, Theology, Pastoral Counseling, Christian Education, or related highly preferred
Bible Teaching Credential from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), or willing to obtain this credential
Teaching Bible experience: 3-5 years
Have knowledge of the physical/emotional development of children who are the ages of the children at the school and understand the problems they face
Cross cultural or multi-cultural experience preferred
Pastoral counseling experience preferred
Trained in American curriculum
Fluent in English
Spiritual Qualifications
Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Committed to support ICSV’s Christian mission and faith-based education
Willing to honor and uphold all standards outlined in the Faculty Handbook
Able to sign the ICSV Statement of Faith
Active member of a church that supports the school’s Statement of Faith
